Hello , this is already my third map :) i'm new to mapping and i think this map looks good for my mapping level.Name is stk_smallbase.I used some of the tutorials on the net (i didn't know how to make some things) and ofc i want to thank sn00p , he helped on my second map and everything i asked he had a solution for it :D .Map is easy and could be done ~25 secs even less.

ehh its another speed map so its not my thing but that doesnt mean i dont wanna help u make it better.

the half-life textures have a certain charm to them, but only if used correctly, and that's hard to do. i would suggest finding urself some new textures.

the map is also very very bright. it almost looks full-bright (i know its not though). maybe make it twilight/dusky lighting and skybox. it just feels like that would suit it better.

i would suggest putting in a gate or something in the wall surrounding the structure simply for detail's sake. seems a lil weird to have a completely enclosed area with no way in or out, but its not THAT important.

also make sure u func_wall ur jumps, especially the computers because they are giving off nasty light bugs.

another thing is check some of the jumps on that tall tower thing (near the base), some of the textures are scaled way down and it looks a lil weird.

in short:
1. better textures
2. darker setting/lighting
3. small details like a gate in the surrounding wall
4. func_wall jumps
5. texture scaling

I thought it was a small, but kinda fun speedmap. You could bhop most of it. Have to agree with all that Timmy said - but this isn't bad for someone who's new to mapping :-)
And yeah, more like 30 seconds.. I could easily do it in around 40 seconds first try and I'm not very good at KZ ;-)

Oh, lol. Haha :-) That might explain why 40 seconds was easy even in the first try :-P
