I think my g5 has this bug too!
Sometimes the acceleration in the air becomes very hard to control.

Okay,I'm bumping an ancient thread but I found a solution which someone posted on readmore.de and seems to work out very well for me!

1. Choose the #.reg you run cs at. # = hz number, for example if you start cs with -freq 75 you must use 75.reg. if you do not start it with any -freq parameters you must use 60.reg.
2. Reboot.
3. Win?

I had no more problems after I used cheesemfix. Anyway, voting to make this thread sticky if your way really works.

Ah it stopped working sadly. Any of you guys applied 500hz fix so you can run your mouse at 500hz? With Filter on? I didn't turn filter on,and my mate did that and he has no problems with that bug. Gonna post if it worked later. I only found that tutorial in german,if it really works,I'll translate it.

optical mouse does not have this bug! mouses that I played: razer da, razer imperator, g5, g500 - have this bug. only a4-tech x750bf (optical mouse) did not have that problem. and the reason - laser, they need extra ideal surface. May be in the future, with a small value sens, laser mouse will not do this bug.
if you play on a laptop, it's better to turn off unused ports usb, bluetooth module and wifi. Also, torrent programs, skype and other internet progs, recomend to turn off. It helped me.
