CS Surfing
I dont no how big surfing is in europe, but i was in it for a while in aus. First off i wanna know if any1 here is good.
First qustion: Can any of you get to the top top (get the the water part in yellow) on the map surf_fatmike? I find it pretty easy and can make it ~4 out of every 5 trys.
Secound Q: Can any1 do Q1 backwardz? I havent done this but some good surf in aus could.
Q3: Can any1 here get ova the pryamid on surf_egypt in one go from 3rd wave/ramp (and im talking not round the side but over it)? I've done this quite a few times and when i was but in surfing i could do it easily aswell.
Q4: (surf_egypt) Can anyone go from first ramp to last ramp back 2 first ramp? I've done this once in my time, but i didnt get ademo, Althought i could try.

1. I consider myself a very good surfer although i have very low fps :( (~50). That makes me get very angry cause i fall from ramps very easily u_u

I used to consider myself really good before I started playing kz. now I consider myself somewhere between half decent and totally crap at it. about the hardest trick I've done is making it too the top from the first ramp in egypt.
is this even possible ?

I' ve made the trick on fatmike backwards, the over pyramid-trick on egypt and another trick on egypt for you. I don't know how much fps you are using, but I have used 100 in that 3 demos. I don't know if you know that, but currently, surfing becomes really really lame, because the more fps you use the higher and longer you fly. So there are some pleople using around 200 fps and everybody think: wow so pro and so on... I use 130 fps because that is a quite good average value where you can combinate a lot of tricks. Try to find a good rate for yourself, but please do not use too much :D

i think im pretty good at surfing too, i remember being real proud my first time beating surf_journey :S but im sure people (like rayla) beat it in like freaking 5 min :O

nice rayla. In aus we find ova 100 fps anywhere is cheating so we just use fps_max 100 and dev 0. O and if you surf ova 100 fps dont u glitch and like randomly stop?
O and i no wat u mean. This guy made a surf movie where he had like ~250 fps and ther tricks he could do were insane, but seeing most people could do it with that fps it wasnt so great.

the surfer here either use dev 0 and fps_max 101 or dev 1 and fps_max 130(not more)

Normally I use 130 fps, can pretty much do all the tricks on egypt and other freestyle maps. Though I like surfing with 100 fps much more (without the glitching etc) but the tricks are so much harder with 100 fps :|
I get 50 fps on surf_1337maze or what ever it is, so fun lol.

Ok someone has to explain this to me how in the hell does your Frames Per Second (FPS) have anything to do with your surf speed/ hangtime. Its your frames per second it doesnt change the aspect of any other maps. If it did it would be cheating and steam would find a way to change it. Im a coputer science major. I cant understand how it effects surf speed. It makes no sense to me. The only explanation is that it has nothing to do with it. Someone please explain how FPS only effects surf maps in this way.
