I am not an expert of american/english language or people, but I can assure you that 99,9% of New York state doesn't give a fuck about accent/proper speech as long as you deliver the general idea to the listener. I am being totally serious. Don't know about other parts of america though, so that's all what i can help with.

Hi Ggs,

I think you're better off with some other guys, than me, when it comes to speaking. Anyway, just watched your video, you're not bad at all :-) One thing that worked for me when I was learning english, was getting a dictionary and just practice on some of the most used words :-) (practice pronunciation, how it's spelled and stuff) Sounds pretty boring but it works.

edit:
Also, when you get used to speaking english, it just get a lot easier somehow - just get going and it'll get easier eventually :-)

I know this is bumping, but I had just had an idea... I don't know if you're still working on your english (you probably are!).. I noticed brought a camera.. how about you make small videologs once a day or week and tell what you experienced/tried/saw that week/day.

It'll be interesting for everyone else and a great way to practice the language!
