Counting how many times has an admin started cups, perhaps "total" and "monthly" nothing hard to do...

there is counting but only the admins can see it

i wonder why only for admins , it should be available for members also

DiDo-Grecord holder07/10/2010 13:17

Yes, it shouldn't be a privilege to know who is doing his job .

That's not something the average member needs to know or care about to be honest.

"average member"?
If you look at gather/eplay/clanzone they have following rule
Every admin needs to start a number of matches/cups (for example: 10) in one week else he will lose the admin status.
And yes you can see how many times an admin started matches/cups, then you have top/ladder of admins ordered by "most cups started."

Well, the point is, what would this function be good for anyway?

Members could see if admins are inactive [for a while] and not doing their job, but they wouldn't know the reasons for it (in some cases there are other reasons than pure inactivity/laziness)... and what would this information good for?

Only thing they could do is go to other admins and criticize/report the lazy admins; which will most likely create bad vibes between the admins (admin<->admin) or users and admins (user<->admin).

I know we are having activity problems at the moment, but you can be sure that we, the guys in the managment, are looking into it and trying to find a solution on our own every 3-4 months.

Even though we're aiming for another solution in the long run regarding the constant cup(admin) problem, we'll be recruiting new admins very soon, don't worry :)
