Hello guys, I was wondering why dont you somehow "install" a new function from which we could edit our posts in the chat box.
Note: Sorry if a thread about this already exists. :)

Well when you insult someone, post some prohibited links etc there will be no proof when you will edit them etc. I think it is good as it is now.

i don't see a difference with or without this thing.

He means that it would be cool, if the chatbox updated itself everytime someone wrote something in the chatbox, instead of you having to refresh the site.

that could be very nice

imagine a live chat with 100 or more online users,i am totally against live chat. You have webchat wich is connected with irc channel for something like that.
and about editing own posts
i would disable edit function for the forum posts also.

So what? If somebody really did a mistake, got that it was wrong and edited his post there's nothing wrong with it. It's like disallowing editing forum posts just to catch spammers?

Well if he did wrong like insult someone I am sure more people than him saw it so it must be punished by admins. Anyway he insult = he broke the rules.
