Edge
Again new mapping problem how to remove edges like this http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/1010/halflife00q.jpg
You can't. Would work if you make some invisible brushes and block them.
These edges occure only between the edges of two blocks with different angles. Try to create a single block and cut the slant out of it.
just choose one solution:
1. CLIP it
2. make one brush insted of two like this http://www.myupload.dk/showfile/65882650709.PNG/
3. use "-cliptype precise" for HLCSG compiler
clip is the best solution
Hey whats the name of that kind of .Wads ?
Just extract the textures from other maps :)
do what sprin said, u can either use the clip too or vertex tool:
carefully click the yellow little square

When it is highlighted red press ctrl+f to create a new vertex (white square)

Drag the vertexes however u want to make ur slants (just make sure you do not leave them all in one straight line or you will get errors)

it seems like a longer process than clipping but its really not, plus knowing how to do this is useful
Pysx , how to extract textures from other maps ? there good maps with good textures BUT no xxx.Wad
use bsp viewer, open the map u wish to get textures from, go to File ---> export ---> bitmaps ---> choose output location
i did i got lot of pictures , what now ?
You have to convert them in one wad file. For that use Wally. Open Wally --> Wizzard --> WAD MERGE ---> Destination Properties Crate New WAD, WAD Type Half-Life WAD3 and press Go. Then copy (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+E) in Wally. All textures must be divisible by 16 pixels. Save and you are done.
make a clip brush over the angled wall and make it stick exactly 1 unit longer out than the angled piece itself, making it cover the straight piece below from above. The edge won't be there and the 1-unit-outsticking clip brush will barely be noticeable ;)
Sry I can't explain it better and I have no time do make a pic atm
