The big "Black Ops" discussion!
10/11/2010 17:00So, I thought I'd make a thread where we can talk about Black Ops, what guns we like, what level we are online, pros and cons - stuff like that.
I'll start with saying that the Ak74-u smg is a pretty overpowered gun. Almost no recoil, and kills faster than some ARs - which they shouldn't.
One thing I really like is that you don't get a bigger killstreak from, let's say, Napalm Strike. You have to kill the enemies yourself.
When it comes to the whole "quickscoping is dead" discussion, it isn't - at least not on Xbox and PS3. All you have to do is dragscope a bit more, and not just aim on enemy, and scope in for a half second. You actually have to be in the scope for one second ++.

knife is still gay as it was in mw2 most useless thing to cod
skorpion is ftw on HC
no more disney toon maps like in mw2 which is great and their easy to memorize
Imo ak74u isnt that overpowered.. famas is!
Ye I like it also that u cant get a bigger killstreak from killing with killstreak rewards, smart thing. altho there is a way u can get a bigger killstreak. Like; if ur in a chopper gunner and shoot on a car, and the car explodes and kills 2 ppl, ur killstreak is up by 2.
Imo sniping isnt fun in this game, u really have to sit in a corner and be a 'scouter'. U cant walk around cuz ppl with smg's or assault riffles will kill u very fast..
I only think the big gun is over powered (dno the right name, its the gun u only can get from a care package, and has like 400 bullets and u only have to hit 1 bullet to kill). All other killstreaks are easy too shoot down or kill like dogs or rc cars

You have to be spinning the "wheel" to shoot it, and while it's spinning you're moving extremely slow - and if you're not spinning it, you will move a bit faster - but if you're going to shoot again, it won't be instant.
They are nerfing the ak74u and Famas in the next patch I think. Either Famas or Commando.
When it comes to killstreaks, the chopper gunner is way easier to get in comparison to MW2 - people are not camping anymore, and if you are camping, they'll just come to you like headless flies.

Ye the deathmachine.. so strong. Ive seen someone use it on Nuketown, that wasnt even funny anymore lol. Its like a chopper gunner on the ground.
I hope they wont nerve the ak74u cuz i really like that gun, and still takes a few bullets to kill someone. especially from a far range it takes alot of bullets. When im using this gun I still get alot of deaths cuz ppl are spraying me with a famas or galil.
I don't know if I have to agree about getting the chopper gunner easier, cuz the killstreaks dont stack up. U really have to get 9 kills (8 with hardline), and in mw2 u could get the pred missle and get double kill to get ur harrier, and with harriers in the air u could just lay down and get ur chopper ez.
I still like this game alot, altho they should fix the spawns in deathmatch abit. I also like the fact u can level really fast.
26/11/2010 19:13I'm against the patching of ak74u aswell, 70% of my kills are with that weapon, and I'm really used to the damage it does, and how it handles. If they give it more recoil, and less damage - it'll be on the level of the MP5K, but with less damage... Ugh.
And the spawns are ridiculous on Capture the Flag. You can basically camp the window at WMD, where C is I think - and they'll respawn right outside the house the whole time. Bullshit.
btw when is the patch coming and where can I find any info about it?

28/11/2010 22:20I made myself 10th prestige level 70 one week after the game came out on the PC. And they banned like 10% of 10 000 cheaters every two months. I was one of the 90% :)
Anybody knows a prestige hack for ps3? :D
Pc version of Black Ops sux. Nuff' said.
