Server Help plz(cs steam)
Hi all!
I Have a problem. In CS folder there is one /cstrike and one /cstrike_russian
When i want to install listen_server(http://xtreme-jumps.eu/download.php?view.727), it won't work. I copy files to /cstrike(there is no /addons) then i copy it to /cstrike_russian(no /addons) and it is anyway won't work.
What i do wrong?
That's why Steam's language system is fucked up. If you want another language than English, then you'll need to keep in mind that you have 2 folders - fucking annoying. It's even more fucked up that they haven't bothered changing it yet....
But I don't quite understand you. With /addons - do you mean plugins or the folder itself? Because the path to your amxx things should be cstrike/addons, or in the other case, cstrike_russian/addons. If the path isn't exactly shown like this, then it's obvious it wont work.
You have to install in cstrike/ even if you play in another language.
Also make sure you have already launch a listenserver without metamod in the past, and make sure you modified liblist.gam

how you can see, there is no /maps /sound /sprites /models and no /addons(question: 1.why?(because my steam-program used another language, than English?). 2.when anyone install cs, is there folder /addons yet? or it will appear after some time?)

where is no /addons too...(before install listen_server)
It's all ok.
So, in cstrike :
Add addons folder
Add(edit if exists) liblist.gam
In cstrike_language :
Remove addons if you previously put it there
Delete liblist.gam if exists
May be you could let them but anyway it's better to have a clean folder.
When you launch your listenserver, if amxx is not loaded copy/past what console says.
