getting a new mouse soon, thinking about getting the Steelseries Xai, Kinzu or the razer deathadder. Most liklet the kinzu cause there is a nice packet price ive found.

Does anyone know if the Kinzu and xai works good for kz/hns cause ive heard xai is bad for bhopping.

Dunno about steelserieses but I'm using mx518 and before this I had microsoft razer habu which is 99% similiar as deathadder. I've also quite small hand so mx518 fits better for me, also, my bhop got a lot better with mx518.

If I had to choose of those I'd choose deathadder, otherwise if you want some other suggestions, I'd suggest mx518, since it's stable.

ok, i actually dont like the feel of mx518. buts its an overall great mouse. But not sure which one since razer is so expensive :(

I'm currently using Steelseries Xai. The shaping of the mouse is rather basic, so it can be slightly deceptive. The mouse has been quite good for longjumping so far! I hate the scroll, though. Can't finish any bhop-maps with a proper time. My old mouse was Logitech MX518, it was fairly good but it also had its flaws. Better for bhop than Xai, at least in my opinion.

Logitech G5 if you can find it. You won't regret it.

In my opinion, the mouse is not that important as you think.. i think every mouse can be good for bhop / ljing, you just need to practise instead of changing mouse.
but if you think your bhop sucks cuz of the mouse you should buy razer deathadder, ive heard only good about it, good accurate, good scroll and it fits to the hand.

ive heard that about deathadder but yes my current mouse is to heavy and big, when im strafing i strafe either to many or to little strafes with the mouse :( thats why im looking for a lighter mouse.

But what about g5/g500, how big is it in size? is it bigger than Edge 3200?

I don't know, I just know mine's been alive for 3 years now, and it just recently started getting dpi changes randomly.

G5 is easily the best mouse out there for kreedz.

ok, good to know. Im gonna se if i can find a decent price for it. Otherwise ill buy the deathadder + hyperglidez for 550SEK which is +- 55$

propanelj record holder03/12/2010 13:21

found g500 pretty cheap, maybe buy it if ill find any hyper glidez :)

CamelCloudrecord holder03/12/2010 14:22

G500 is pretty much the "upgraded" version of G5, so they say. I just don't like the scroll on it.
