Viewdemo Problem :(

Hi,

I don't really know where to post this question, anyway here it is :
I have an error when I try to read some demos (coming from friends, not my own demos). Actually, it only happens on kz_longjumps2 demos but I'm not sur that it's linked.
The error is : Cannot continue without model *207, disconnecting...

That often happens if the demo is done by playing on a non-Steam version of the game. If its recorded in the illegal version of Counter-Strike 1.6 it is not the current version of the game, but instead its in protocol 47 (whereas legal is 48).

You can also try using the command 'playdemo' instead of 'viewdemo'. It works more often. :AS:D! gfLOL HAHAH

Ok, I tried playdemo, 'got another fail (similar to the previous one) :

Error: could not load file *188
Model *188 not found
Cannot continue without model *188, disconnecting

If you have another suggestion, share it ! :D

Try to rename
kz_longjumps2 to kz_longjumps2_8ball1

Or if the demos are non steam, go to HLAE and convert them, then try again.

Problem fixed, it seems I had a modified version of kz_longjumps2, just replaced it. -.-
