That made my head hurt, this was just too over edited. One could barely see the jumps performed, you shouldn't edit the jumps itself too much. It ruins the idea of the whole movie, the jumps.

Again, it could be just me but I prefer movies with nice jumps and clean edit where I can actually see the jumps, editing is always the secondary factor in the movie but still important.

You should just show the jumps from prestrafe to the ending with normal speed without speeding it to 20x then flashing a couple of times and changing the map. The free look view effect is nice but again I would like to see the jumps first in the first person then afterwards from the 3rd person view.

I can't tell if this is the moviemaking standard nowadays but it's only my opinion, I like calm movies with good atmosphere this was just... too much.

I will agree with you at some points. The jumps are essential in a movie, yea, but for me they are not the main thing in a clip like this.
If one wanted to see the jumps in their full length etc, it would be obvious to just watch the demo. The idea of a clip like this, is the edit. If we assume that the jumps where important on the level you mention, I could just capture them and place them in the vegas timeline without a single effect, and it would be a good clip. That is not the chase.

Also, saying it was over-edited is kinda wrong in my head. Nothing is over-edited, its just another style of editing that people should appreciate more. Every good movie these days is "over-edited", and that must mean its a good thing :)
