Hi there, :)

I was just wondering, how long is a Counter Strike 1.6 characters. For instance, to do a 180 Ladderjump block, we need at least 180 stats but if we do this kind of jump http://s2.noelshack.com/uploads/images/18422312344524_hns_floppytown0002.jpg how far do we need to jump ?

Thanks ! :D

I think I saw on one topic eDark saying that the character is 40x40 units so atleast 215 :D

175 plus ct models size ~32units = 207 :)

By the thread title I hoped you were asking how fat the CS characters in reality would be. That would provide a nice discussion because those characters were built on real human proportions. Why do all models have the same height by the way? Could you imagine the possibilities if a model was like 30-50 units shorter? :D

That would be pretty awesome, smaller and bigger models :D.

Guess the smallest would be a little better, becuase you could aim it harder.
On other hand the bigger one had a smaller percentage of getting hit in the head :D

From the thread's name I thought it was going to be a philosophical and self-exploring thread, something like psychoanalysis for yourself - kind of like Sigmund Freud did. I expected this to contain some key questions to answer to find out how "fat" your personality is, but unfortunately I was mistaken and thus disappointed. Of course the definition of 'fat' would have to be something abstract instead of the general physical understanding of the term, as we can't accompany something already abstract into something physically existent.

ONTOPIC: To my understanding the number you are searching for is the width of the player model. This number is 32 units, as already stated. I believe spr1n's more exact number is correct despite the fact that I have nothing to base my belief on. Kind of like religion.

Thesis, antithesis, synthesis, you've got 4 hours. Good Luck.

sorry kafds, I actually did a mistake. I should have written 32.06500 ...

the thing is player is exactly 32.0 units wide, but engine always leaves 0.03250 units between player and walls in every direction... so player can never fit into 32 units wide corridor for example.

Things like this would be interesting to put them in practice in a map...

Very Interesting, thanks.
