Were will we be in 5 to 10 years time?
Will xtreme-jumps be dead or do you think counter-strike will reach 15+ years... its mad thinking were and what we will be doing by then...
my predictions are:
A new unique technique which will see 275+

NES games still alive.. same will be with cs.. old players quit - new comming, cycleway. Amen!

surely there will be new, good lj's but we can not speculate we will see.
Mostly depends on us, members. If we continue to be as active as now, XJ will most likely still be running - and a good chance that faker is still on board.
But who knows?
I can't imagine this community running without faker,ndR and eDark so I hope the don't retire :D Also a lot of new jumpers will hold wr-s, probably kkz 200+ :D I hope lots of new maps will be made too. CS:S Promode is an alternative for keeping XJ alive since this engine is somehow different, some new techniques might be found there. And I think on CS:S could be made a lot more better and various maps but I don't know much about it. Time will tell!

Who cares, let's enjoy the present and see what will be in the future.

I hope that I'll get a good job, of course. As for XJ, I'd say that it will be still running or at least I hope so. Many new maps to come and also new wr's. Longjump records will improve with some units but leave that beside. Let's hope that the admins won't let us down. :D
The community will be ran by different people if it still is up. Every wr is held by people from eastern europe because everyone else realized they have to focus on their own lives. XJ will have by far over 100000 members.
XJ will either completely die or be bigger than never before (250k+ members). CS 1.6 will be completely dead or be more popular than now,than source. 258 LJ/249BHOp/270CJ/274DCJ/250HJ will be done by then. Goldbhop's wr will be under 1:26. : D
i think a new version of cs will come up and eventually xj will morph and the main playing cs version will be the new,suitable and the closest to 1.6 now. But i think when there is still desire to play,no matter the version, people will continue to jump
