Ok xj here's the deal.

I've always considered my strafes sh*tty, being bad ljer and all. (251 personal record done ~2 years ago, now 248=extremely hard)


Anyway, I found this simple hj-jump that is all about strafing.

This jump is VERY hard for me because it's HJ and there's no room for prestrafing either. However, I managed to do this once today after trying it for nearly 15 minutes.

What do you guys think of this jump? Can you do it? Was it easy or extremely hard, and how long did it take for you to do it? I think that 2x = GODLIKE.

Try it and share your demos and results how you performed trying this. This way we can everyone see "the strafing standard" of the community. (also if I have the worst strafes in the universe if it appears to be uber-easy for everyone else -.-')

- only hj counts
- no speeding outside the starting block
- both pre's are ok imo

Now get out there and give me some strafes! (also gl)

Here is my demo http://www.sendspace.com/file/8r17xv . I did it 3 times in ~2 mins using W only prestrafe. So, as you might already understood, it wasn't hard for me at all. And, x2 = nothing godlike to be honest :) . I'll try p90 now. Good job for finding.

sambb lol, nice to see you are alive first of all! I don't think your strafes are bad since you had some very nice world records before, I actually like your style a lot. Hope to see you back in the business man. <3

About this jump, did it in a minute with 6 strafes and around 217 no duck stats. Its a bit gay to be honest, I hate this kind of HJs...

First of all, I know my strafes are pretty ugly. :D Here is my demo with scout http://www.sendspace.com/file/ejxug1 I've got close with knife/usp so I believe that I will manage do it.
Even though that the trick is simple it's still enjoyable, nice job. :)

nobody^: yeah it's tough for me too. Even though this jump is kind of irritating, it still shows the effects of strafing. thanks for replying :]
