G5 to ...??
Hello,
Okey guys here is the deal, I feel like my G5's scroll is totally broken right now. So I think I should replace my G5 with something other else but I really don't know with what, so I am asking you for advice. Back in the days (3 years ago), I was used to play with MX518 but it got broken (it felt the ground) and then I bought my G5 but now it's dying slowly. Currently I am thinking of G500 or maybe a DeathAdder Respawn or even MX518(again) ?
I though I am sure to buy a G500 but then I realize that I don't have to rush and regret about my decision later, So I need advice what mouse to buy now, I would like to read any review(s) from players used to play with G500 and DA Respawn.
And yeah, I know it's kinda lame to ask for things like that but I am lost. :/
Edit: Just wanna notice that G5 isn't selling anymore in my country, I've tried to buy it from lots of stores but they says that they don't support this kind of mouse anymore(g5).

I strongly recommend DA respawn, it have never let me down atleast.
Also I've heard the g500 is a good mouse, but the scroll is really loose, even when the "spin-wheel" is off.
Deathadder respawn was a dissapointment to me. The design has been changed slightly which has made the mouse pretty annoying to hold, compared to the old 1800dpi version, also the scroll is kinda bad imo.
G500 is a good mouse in terms of response, design etc. but if you've come from g5 you'll have to spend some time getting used to the scroll.
Personally I think I'd stick with the mx518 tbh. Anyway gl.
Well, A friend of mine offers me his DeathAdder (old version - 1800dpi) for 35$, he have used it once and he put it back in the box again but I have heard lots of bad things for old-version of DeathAdder so I am not really excited about it.
Well for now, I am thinking about G500 but let's hear some other reviews from more players =)
I strongly recommend you to buy G500.
SiMen.26, Playmate (272dcj, 268cj), Sitka (256lj, 255x2lj), chrizZo, kelta and Shady (awesome bhop stats such as 249+) are using this wonderful mouse.
Yay, I won't do longjumps cause I am not that good and I have never been good at longjumps. I just got 252lj demo since really long time and I haven't improved my ljrec yet and that's why I don't do ljs. I will record (non)official maps and obviously continue with trying to get the map, I am geeking to wr here.
It's not about the mouse, it's about the one who is using the mouse.
Don't expect mouse to make you a superb sick ass omfg god, I would just buy whatever is the cheapest option but still has some quality in it. Mx518 is a nice, not that expensive mouse, it would be my reccomendation.
I perfectly know the skills doesn't come with the mouse. I just wanna buy some mouse which won't broke in a month or so... and I want the wheel of it to be good. That's why I am asking for some feedbacks to these mouses from people who are used to play with them.
Okey anyways, I bought G500 from a friend, I will receive the mouse tomorrow :P

hehe nice, my mx518 worked perfectly too since it don't get hardly banged in the ground :o
