Low fps on steam.Help?

I have low fps on steam.In the nonsteam i have 100 fps all the the time.But in the steam i have 60 70 fps and it lags.How to increase the fps and smaller lag?I was watching people whit not very powerfull coputers but 100 fps all the time in steam.

Get a computer from this century. I haven't even heard of Asrock, and Geforce 6200 was used in like year 2000.

turn every other things off turn down aa/af whatsoever. if it doesnt help get new hardware

ASRock is a daughter company of Asus. The company mostly makes motherboards for computers.

Also, if it was working perfectly fine earlier, have you tried reinstalling Windows? It could fix the cause as well.

one of the most ambitious posts.

Try using identical cfg and other settings just as on nonsteam version? If that doesn't work then just face the reality and buy new hardware.

I will upgrade my PC whit a new procesor,motherboard,ram but in two months.

steam consumes lot of processor, try to close all programs and dont connect in steam, it saves you some lag.

Try to upgrade your drivers, i actually play with amd 3200+ 1.95ghz and nVidia 7050 and i get sometimes 100fps, so you should have it too.

Also use Ccleaner and maybe it will works better, and try to defrag your hard disk..

There are many things to do to upgrade your FPS in game.

BB and GL i know how annoying is playing under 100fps
