-freq 100 question

I cant use -freq 100 in launch options on my 20inch fujitsu 60hz but on my mothers 17 inch(think its an 75hz acer) i can use freq 100 with any resolution.
Is there any way to fix this? :( Im so used to play with 100 freq

vsync off in your videocard options and you are good to go ;)

also want to ask... i got 20inch LCD Samsung Widescreen,i use -freq 75,and my vsync is off.So if i put 100 is my monitor going to explode or something?(res 800 600)

i also use -freq 75 now, i think too use -freq 100 i red something about needing to change some drivers that alows the monitor to Use ANY hertz not just on cs. It could go up to 240hz but it can destroy hardware.
