Thought of the week!

Hello mates,
I've read a comment underneath the 25th weekly. The person who posted it asked why there isn't a thought of the week, well simply as Punk^ mentioned, it isn't that easy to develop an idea. So basically if u guys have some, post them below and that way u can make the job of the Weekly crew easier.

It will be nice to hear some toughts on cheating since it has grown over the years to a different level and i am pritty sure some day it will be the downfall of this mod ... people strated to cheat in all sort of different ways with all sort of plugins scripts hacks and some inspirational toughts about what kz is realy about will be very nic3 ...after all at the end of the day when you look at what you have done with your own efort thats the greatest reward of all x_X

You think cheating will be the downfall of this mod someday? I dont think so because then it had already happend. But i think theres alot of cheaters though.

Well the problem is that there are alot of cheaters and as u can see people make / find new ways of cheating and eaven some of the "clean" people turned out to be cheaters... in my openion its a matter of time for some one to invent a cheat and keep it secret ... and as we can see eaven the smallest advantage like 10 frames 1 move speed can give a GREAT advantage in the kz world .. And to be honst i feal that there are some cheaters that have been around for some time and still havent been cought ... but mby thats just me any ways lets not turn this in to the Choping block :P

MJK but when the technology of cheating increases so does detecting them. eDark has and is making sure of that. Only hope is that eDark doesn't join the dark side! Since the force is strong in him.

I think making a thread of people to post their "thoughts" is quite stupid. There is no way you can moderate and evaluate each thought as it comes along with tens of replies to question it. Just hope people will say their thoughts out loud in the forum or the chatbox. Forcing thought's to come out isn't realistic.

Personally, I think thought of the week for the weekly is a good idea but it's never going to be a thing since it needs alot of work from everybody, and nobody (no pun) is going to keep it alive for long.

according to your logic you should include recipe for pancakes, train schedule in Bangladesh and extract from Mein Kampf in the weekly because "some people read it". the point is how many people read it and if wouldn't be more effective for the writer to spend the time for writing rumors or interview (MOST people read it).

You're not... thinking right... Limiting the weekly to the minimal amount of infos is bad because it's supposed to give us something to read and infos to get knowledge of, about what happened and what's new, not about how to make cake or a new perfume... You're just flaming me apparently, I know you're not that dumb :)

The totw should be useful to people new in this community (and just look around you) and that want to get to know the "world" (sad to say that) a bit more.

I'm just stopping here

zgooh you're not thinking.... right.... He's not trying to limit the info weeklies give he's trying to limit the unnesessary crap in it. Not that there is such stuff in it now. But, Imo thought of the week is not something I wouldn't be intrested in. Just too fancy and seems a bit too desperate to get the weekly look chubby. In the end people would just hunt for their name in the weekly which is imo completely pointless.

You realize that thought of the week isn't a hint box for newbies? That's called forums. Thought of the week is something philosophical relating to the wonderous world of KZ. Not some tips such as "Good way to strafe is to do it right".
