Highjumps
I have a little theory of the worldrecord list of highjumps; :first:
It suddenly accured to me that if you put an invisible block underneath the edge of a highjump, you can remove the edgefriction (so basicly it removes the slowdown in your prestrafe)
I know that some people already figured this out aswell but my question:
Is there anyway to check a demo for an invisible block? :grr:
Ive been looking at Risible Ripple demos a couple of times, and to me it looks like he uses the record demo command instead of the, record/stop/gocheck just to put on a show to make it look like he fails edge.
Check the demos in highjumps yourself and have in the back of your mind that theres an invisible block underneath and it does make sens :P
This might be a longshot and yeah i might be stupid for making this thread :mistrust: But lately i find higjump quite random, when you see crouchers really insane jump and then these lowstats filling the list, :gah:
but I was just curious to see if you can proof that I am wrong with my theory :)
(no offens to RR in particiular)
Ohi friend!
How is that even remotely relevant to anything of what I just wrote? People like you destroy this forum.
Well answer isn't necessary.. A invisible block's only possible with a model (normaly) so If you don't have the model you can watch the demo..
I bet eDark can easily check if there is edgefriction so in the wr's i don't think so and gj Lolz for the smart thinking about the model.
Detecting which plugins are used in demo.
I've seen that kind of cheat - it's detectable.
Risible Ripple just modified a bit the hj technique...i saw 241 hj block made with 248 stats no cheat...and it's possible
Yes, that is easily checkable.
