right click on counter-strike icon in steam menu, properties, set launch options -> "-noforcemparms -noforcemspd -noforcemaccel" . the point of acceleration is, that when you make the same trajectory on your mousepad with different speed, the result is different as well. so when you "travel" 10 cm on your mousepad veery slowly and the acc is on, you will turn only slightly in-game. but when you do that distance faster, you'll turn more in-game.

ye that sucks :P

MouseAccerlation accelerates your mouse: It makes it faster and harder to control (cause it will be lot of faster and more inaccurate).

It can be disabled via the launch options "noforcemparms -noforcemspd -noforcemaccel".

I suggest you to keep it disabled because it sucks :D

Is mouse accel on or off by default?

Edit: Oh .. my god >.< These are the key things that i seem to miss :P

I have apparently started playing KZ for 2 weeks at 60fps with mouse accel ON ... then i found out about the 100fps thing .. did that, did better .. great >.>

But now i turn off mouse accel and all of a sudden all these jumps that seemed hard to me and super easy for you are easy for me >.<

@arokh

sure, cuz u need to accustom with the new sensitivity. It takes a few days, but after u got accustomed, it'll rules.

Or it could just be your mind playing tricks on you and you're actually that good.

fuzzerd20/12/2006 04:45

I still play with mouse accel, that could be why I don't see 247 as possible XD

Yes. You need to put in my launch options to disable it.

Of course it is lot of slower than before but you can set your sensitivity higher to compense the effect.

I use the CPL mousefix so it's not gay outside of game either (and in anyother programs). Basically mouse-accel is the ultimate in do not do's when it comes to computer use.

Thanks for all the answers <3

Yes!

skitz mapper21/12/2006 07:10

The same effect, yes, but im pretty sure they are SLIGHTLY different. They do a very similar thing (make the mouse accell they way it should be) so either is fine. Basically some people use the no-force commands and some use CPL-fix, and others use both. They all have the same feel so use whichever one you want.

saad721/12/2006 20:57

but when i put these cmds my mouse accelaration increased n i have to lower the sensivty wats that?

tjubby22/12/2006 23:01

KNiFEAR22/12/2006 23:52
