just copy the image after you selected it to a new project which is transparency.
press image / mode / indexed color
palette: local (selective)
colors 256
Forced: None
Transparency: tick it
Now Image / Mode / Color Table
Select the transparence color to make it blue(cause it will be then the 255 palette)
Press okay save it as bmp and import it in to your wad.
