its not allowed to surf a wave before pressing a timer right? that would make every wr ridiculous :o or did he press the timer and then speedgained? i doubt thats any faster lol

Unfortunately there wasn't a rule against that when they started making the wr's and i gues now it's to late to fix that problem... :S
It isn't a problem, already got a discussion and nowadays there are people who still disagree, but, there isn't a way to change it anymore, and most of the players, agreed in this way, this rule was made years ago and "unfortunately/fix/problem" arent the correct words atm..
Tbh i also see no problems in speed gain before pressing the timer, you guys cant say every world-record will become ridiculous since aren't much maps that can be done this way.
