Does mouse pad takes big advantage in jumping? I've G5, but i've never used a mouse pad for whole 3 years i've the mouse.

in jumping i dont think it give so much extra besides removing the friction between mouse and surface i guess :/

As long as you're using a surface that makes your mouse movements smooth, it dosen't matter... you don't need to buy a mousepad that costs 100$, if a 5$ does the same job.
