Humpf, Geforce gts 450 is prolly gonna bottleneck ya imho. If you want them newish games to glide smoothly ye will be needed something stronger if thine budget permits it. Even my 4890hd noticeably exceeds it. And I'd also like add that, even thou it supports dx11, it will suck most of its performance if you play at optimized settings thus recklessly diminishing yer fps.

The most important thing in a computer, the cooling

Nukk31/07/2011 18:20

i tried mafia2 with high video settings + 1280x1024 -> 97fps :)

Well Nukk if thats so important then get x32 but it will slow down your pc and in the future it wont have the power you would expect from it...

Knoxville, they burn when you overclock the too much ;)

mtoboiii8000 mapper31/07/2011 18:28

Oh and btw. Win7 has a feature called XP-Mode i which you can actually use 32bit programms..
What kind of programms are you talking of btw?

Nukk31/07/2011 18:32(edited 31/07/2011 18:32)

some moviemaking programms and if im right, too many of games imp to run in win7,even with XP-mode

mtoboiii8000 mapper31/07/2011 18:43

What kind of games? I havent had any problems with my x64 yet...

But are these few programms seriously that important? I mean you can only use 3gb of memory with 32 bit and most of the new games will run not as good as they would on x64... If 32 bit is so important than why buy such a powerfull pc?

Nukk31/07/2011 19:02

because i dont see any "BIG" differents between 32 and 64 bits =)

mtoboiii8000 mapper31/07/2011 19:09

The one difference that already stands out is that you can only use 3gb memory with 32 bits! Thats not enough for the future...

Getting something similar, akkord, except the SSD and ram. Getting the Corsair Dominator DDR3 8GB. And a less powerful GPU, those are pretty expensive in Norway as far as I know.

Nukk,I've used win7 x64 and I was scared aswell, but for me there was no program that didn't work, whether it was x64 or x86. And you better not get a Seagate HDD,it fails. D:
