It would be great if you can give me some exact infos of whats good and whats bad.

Here is mine These are its characteristics
3D technology has been one of the dominant topics at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES) with numerous 3D device on display that guarantee refining of this unique technology that brings the images to virtual reality. One of such products is the latest 3D Plasma television from the electronics giant, Panasonic. The all new Panasonic TC-PVT25 series at the CES is a feature packed entertainment powerhouse, that has also bagged this year’s “2010 Best of CES Awardâ€.
The all new VT-25 series from Panasonic will also include state of the art 3D glasses that are designed to enhance user experience and with a unique LC shutter system, the 3D plasma TV will be able to display 1080p high definition video quality for each eye with the help of the stereoscopic 3D effects. However, the only way viewers can get this TV to play 3D video is to play a 3D disc on a 3D-compatible Blu-ray player, or if they are subscribed to 3D satellite channels.
Panasonic’s TC-PVT25 series is categorized by an all new feature called, Infinite Black Pro, that is believed to be the component which has been included in the 3D televisions to enhance the black performance of the Plasma TVs. Even with the infinite black pro and non-pro distinction in place for the models of the VT-25 series, Panasonic is still advertising the 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio for both models.
The TV is really good I have it for several months and am very pleased.
Ok Cyclop what ever you do DO NOT BUY 3D TV. First off, the technology is really expencive, shit and utterly useless.
By useless I mean really useless. There's VERY LITTLE of 3D movies and especially channels you can watch. Buying 3D TV now would be like buying blu ray player the second it got out.
Seriously, 3D TV's are voted one of the worst investments at this moment. aCTEPuKC|FTW made it sound like and advertisement.
My own preferation is obviously full HD (1080p), HDMI. really depends how much you're willing to invest but 40" would be kinda cool, they're not even that expencive anymore. 100 Hz freshrate gives it a smooth view, gets rid of from most of the fast movement blurrs. Oh and LED tv.
The best thing you can do probably is go to a store with loads of TVs, compare them, pick the one that looks best check the info and decide if you're going to buy it. Maybe come back here and ask us "what you think of this: ". If people approve, yay! :)
Yeah don't buy 3D, and to be honest any TV you'll find from a known company and where the price is over 300E is good enough for human eye.
CyclopP, never buy 3d sets, they are shitload boxpack of garbage.
If u have the bucks, 40 led Samsung or Sony ftw.
cheers :)
Samsung is a very good brand, I strongly suggest you to buy one from them.
If you can afford a LED it could be even better, but an important technical thing you gotta pay attention to is the contrast ratio, the higher the better.
If you're looking for smoothness (very enjoyable to watch sport) you gotta pay attention to the frequency, and thus buy a TV with 100Hz or 120Hz.
To give you a price idea, you can find for 540€ a 40" LED Samsung with 100Hz and a good contrast ratio.
LED + glossy screen if you want good quality.
