Good evening XJ.

I want to set up my own server at home. There's a lot of hostings out there, but I have some physical servers, that should be fine. But I'm not sure if they are powerful enough to.

So, if there are any server owners here, please post server requirements for 16-18 slot HLDS linux with AMXX on it.

Btw willing to start two servers: KZ and Cup.

Any system with atleast Core2Duo/Athlon II + 2-12 gigs of ram and a 512-1024mb graphics card can handle.I am not sure if graphic card makes some difference in server hosting.
I run my own hide n seek server at home from my laptop which is Acer Aspire 5741G(i think) with Intel Core i3 2.13GHz,4 Gigs DDR3 memory and ATi HD5470 Mobility graphics with 512mb dedicated memory and i run 13 slots + HLTV @ 90-95 fps while recording and my server console reports 990-1038 frames per second for my server which is amazing so you wouldn't have problems with any dual/triple/quad core and 4 gig system.

I dont see how a graphics card should matter, but other than that I agree with above.

Like you said graphic card doesn't matter, only RAM and CPU.
