Special Entrys for bhopping / climbing ?
Hi there !
I'd like to know which entrys I have to modify within my config to get the best out of it for jumping & Bhopping.
Please tell me wich settings r the best for it.
BUT PLEASE (!) don't tell me to play with standard settings !!!
I'm not that noobish to know that some have other setting than just "bind mwheeldown +jump" !
For example 'ndR' at arizona_bhop ...
He can walk up an taped edge between a taped rock and a wall
(The one after the first bhop-platforms)
He did NOT any special moves or jumps....he just walked up there slowly.
So please what r the best settings for such actions..

I just can tell you that it doesn't work for me on the xtreme-jumps-server and when I open this map on my local machine...

also if ur fps is not ~100, its impossible to climb it because that slant is pretty steep.

The clientsettings r ok....
Don't know what it is... it doesn't work.
There aren't really any config that makes you get better at jumping though. I've been searching during a long time, i've found that you get smoother moves with ex_interp 0.1 and it does something to blocks.
However, the most important is fps.
ex_interp 0.1 : your moves are smoother
ex_interp 0.01 : recommended if you play guns, you hit better but you're a bit more "laggy"
ex_interp 0.008 : recommended if you play knives, you get a longer range.

I just can tell you that it doesn't work for me on the xtreme-jumps-server and when I open this map on my local machine...
you need some minimum FPS - it's not about client settings.
if you have 100fps on this position you can climb up there :O
16/01/2007 13:22Try to go to preferences of ur VGA-card and see if u find the setting "V-SYNC", then turn it OFF, because if u have that setting enabled the fps wont go higher then the refreshrate on ur monitor.
U can also check if u have "fps_max" or "max_fps" 101 (cant remember :P ) in ur console in CS,
U can also try to use this GUI, http://www.avault.com/cpl/cplcsgui2.zip
U can use these settings in ur userconfig.cfg too, hehe everything will look like CRAP but if u dont have 100fps with this config u should consider buying some new Computer Hardware :P

Pf0llz0r, i wanna to try this fps config.. but maybe u can write or maybe u have cfg wich resets to default ? or maybe u know another way to back normal mode ?
try it and if you wont like it, reset pc, it should not save :) or end cs through ctrl+alt+del
backup original/your config, then make a new config with this settings. Type exec configname in console, to switch configs. It's that what u mean? :?
