i would get the g400 since its e newer mouse and its not expensive at all.
The shape of the mouse is pretty much the same i think but the grip on the g400 looks better, i havent tried it yet. And it uses 3 huge "Polytetrafluoroethylene feet" creating low friction between mousepad and the mouse itself.
