Good config for g500

I bought a logitech g500 last week, and i don't know a good config for sensitive and dpi. And i use mousefix too.. Someone could tell me a good one?

i use 500 hz , 800 dpi , 6 win , 5 sens driver and 3 cs :D

Im not a professional but I'd use max dpi, max Hz (supported) and figure out comfortable sensitivity myself

use what you prefer. There is no "best" sens.

I actually take back what I said about dpi. 5000 dpi and such high values are useless since you dont need to move your mouse 0.0005 inches. And it says here http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2010/02/does-dpi-matter-in-gaming-mice-one-mouse-maker-says-no.ars that dpi doesnt affect gaming that much. If you read the comments one person even replies that "I would dare say that very high DPI mice is even detrimental - cursor jittering will start to dominate and you have to be more picky about the type of surfaces you use the mouse on." So in others words high dpi can be counter productive. As my new reply to you: Max Hz (supported), 2000dpi and try an ingame sensitivity/OS sensitivity that suits your needs

as long as the mouse doesnt pixel skip at the dpi you are using it should be fine. I think the deathadder got pixel skips at 800dpi or something. I dont know if the G500 does.

and what about the freq? i use 60HZ and started to use 75.. but it is strange..

As for me, -freq 75 helped me alot. My strafes became smoother and more usefull, and my LJ increased pretty much, especially when I combined it with m_filter 1 and turned the accelerate off. Can't actually play without one of those settings, try it out.

-freq 75 is the best ;P even tho i used regular hz for all my previous jumps.

Sorry for necroing this thread.
Anyways, when I unlock the mouse wheel and scroll it quickly the jump command applies only once the wheel spins pretty slowly. So at a high speed nothing happens. Is there any way to fix this?

Open steam, Go to library, Right click on Counter strike 1.6, Properties, Set launch options, Put -freq 75 in it :)
