Today I saw a video on youtube which was about a father "spanking" his daughter. It has gone quite viral in the last few days so you might have seen it. Anyway i wanted to start a discussion about this sort of thing so i decided to open a new thread since the chatbox isn't the best place for discussing such things.
The video itself is quite repulsive for me. I couldn't watch it till the end because it just disgusted me. Seeing someone get beaten like this girl was just a little too much i could handle. I think this man should go to jail. Furthermore he is a public official who is supposed to keep the order. I was just sicken.

03/11/2011 11:52What I think of it? Isn't that quite obvious? I Mean punishing kids this way is fucking retarded and so crude in perspective to the world we live in. I think that this "terrible excuse for a human being" should be caged in and the lock thrown away.

once i saw a father beating his child because "he didnt pick the ice cream he wanted fast enough" and stood up to him and told him to stop it.
we argued a little and he was quite aggresive, but i went threw army and am a big dude myself.
i absolutely HATE it when dumb shitfucks like this guy cant raise their children without violence because they obviously cant articulate properly so the child understands and listens to what the parent says.
Every child is just the product of their parenting. If you have problems with your kid better settle them with yourself.

He has gone too far, it is in human race not only human but also animal to educate a child with small beating. Child learns that he erred from it and will try not to do it again. Thus, the child brain realizes what was that for and why from a small beating.
Of course you can not educate the child when she or he is 16, it's too late, you have to do it when it's young, and surely it is forbbiden in some countries.

Before watching the video linked by the lad who made this thread, i was going to post some stupid troll comment but i decided to see it. And i must say that I had to speed-up the video cuz i couldn't handle it. REALLY SHOCKING!
I think that some children need spank sometimes if they didnt understand that they did something wrong. I mean, i had been spanked myself sometimes, cuz I deserved it and it made me think of what i did. But it was just some painless spanks, which cannot be compared to the "belt-hits" she endured cuz of her fuckin coward father.
That is a situation which cannot be tolerated.
It was shocking . Beating up your kid like that for trying to install a game to its computer? This wasnt normal spank. This was a spank with a belt. I started reading the comments and there were people saying that ''she deserved it'' and ''why is she doing this ? just to make her dad loose his job'' . I was shocked myself. Didnt have words. That guy deservers to go in prison for abusing his child with a belt and not stopping when his child begs him to do it. If everyone starts beating his child for downloading games and music to the computer , most people would be dead for now...

I see your POV but tbh if you prefer hitting your child before trying to interact with it by using a certain tone of your voice or even a look you've got somewhat of a cruel mind.
How is it not obvious that if you do something and then someone hurts you you learn to not do it again? its just fucking wrong to hurt your children lol.

there's nothing wrong with a small educational hit when the kid's done something seriously wrong. but this is really ill-minded. only watching it made me angry.
