G500 vs DA 3500 !! Which mouse is better?

Guys,i'm going to buy a new mouse. Which is better for kz(both strafing and bhoping) : logitech g500 or razer deathadder 3500 ?

I had a deathadder 1800 for like 3 years (then small problems arrived) !! Now i own a g5 (since august) and the senzor + scroll button are allready screwed !!

I read so much about these two,but all i could find was about cs 1.6 shooting,not strafing and bhoping !!

I must tell you that i'm a Deathadder fan,i love the design and the confort...but g5 > deathadder 1800 !!

So,which is better ? By the way,people let me know which has the most resistance / durability !!

ive used the DA 3500 for a year now and i can say its a great mouse but the mouse quality isnt the best :P my scroll wheel is moving around when im strafing :S makes a clicking sound and my sensor is kind of f*cked, feels like it moves faster to one side than the other, kind of fucks my ljs.

Dont know much about g500 but it also have its problems, my friend have used up around 4 G500s in less than 2 years cuz of its bad cord, besides that i think its a mighty fine mouse :)

But if you like the DA design and feeling keep using it i would say :) im gonna try get a new one on warranty before im guying a g400/500

Well i own a G5 now and it's better than DA 1800,but i really can't tell anything about g500 and DA 3500 .... i want the mouse to have a longer durability ,atleast 2 years ? ...

I read better stuff about g500 than DA 3500 ... from what i can see,people who use G500 are better at bhop and climbing,and people who use DA 3500 are better at longjumping ...

I recomand you the Razer DA 3500, pure madness. Scrolling will never be as easy as with it ;)

i think the scroll is the bad thing in DA, atleast for me, feels so squishy ;D;D but thats only me x)

Well,one thing i noticed about g5 is that the scroll is better than DA 1800's scroll ... i love DA 3500,but most people say that the g500 is better and has a longer durability ...damn

Very interesting indeed .... i have Windows 7 64 bit (6gb ram + 2gb video card,XP can't handle that) so that "specification" is important to me.

My G5 dosn't support Windows 7 ,therefor i allways have mouse problems with the laser / pointer movement (on desktop and ingame) !!

Does anybody own g500 and has this problem ?

I have a G500 and it works perfectly fine with Win 7 64bit. I really like it for both, general kreedz and LJing.

Then why many people have the same problem i do ? ...

The problem is : whenever i strafe,there is a 10% chance that 1 strafe will go 180 degrees (if i spelled it right) ... i checked mouse acceleration,i deactivated,i activated,it dosn't make a difference.

^ that happens to me when im using a bad mousepad. but on windows 7 you can never completely remove the mouse acceleration without using special softwares like RIinput that removes the accceleration from a specific .exe file like hl.exe or explorer.exe. cArn explained this in one of the Theory of Counterstrike episodes.

i can jump pretty good, almost as good as g5

/edit: oh didnt see you are talking about g500

PS : I'm using steelseries qck mousepad,so it's not about the mousepad :)

/edit : i can't find that "RIinput" !! Are you sure that it's the correct name ?

It's working but it's really "buggy" (if thats even a word - from "bug").
While i'm in-game,if i press ESC / ~ (console) my mouse is not working at all + if i click something random,my hl.exe crashes !!

Deathadder ftw :))

stick too deathadder then :P might be a better choice if g5 is lagging ^^ and yes, RI input causes the mouse to be pretty off in the menus so youll have to do almost everything through the console, thats why i never use it xD

I'll stick with my favourite ,deathadder and i hope that it won't break after 1.5 year(s?) :)
