Think about those who were using it for professional purpose, they lost all their content. Think about those who had bought a premium account, they lost their money.

Yes, but they really co-operated with copyright owners by prompt removal of material as requested. Some file hosters are really slow with that, some totally ignore those requests. Sure, they still are illegal, but they should not have been the first to shut down. Guess that has something to do with their status and long-year service.
