hello, i want to make a brush with gradient transparency in order to put it in a tunnel and make it look kinda endless.
what exactly could i do? make a texture with a color fading to another, then apply it to a transparent func wall? if so, which pair of colors is a good choice? or are there any better ideas?

You can just add a bunch of white blocks in a row with low opacity, probably the easiest way.

you could also do a black overlay on the texture like rad0n did on his bhopmaps to make it feel endless.
the thing is that, that you need to make the light to get darker in that edge too
