quality help

hi, when i render something in vegas .wmv at hd options, when i put it on youtube it looks 360P or 480max ...i try all wmv options(the hd only..).i don't wanna use avi because my pc isn't so good and it takes a long time....could u help me with ur quality sett? or tell me what is wrong.

avi is faster than wmv for almost all codecs, i'd say render uncompressed avi and use legion. wmv is an outfashioned thing anyways, especially you wont find proper settings for youtube with it

You have to know that taking out a clip or rendering will always take a long time (for example, it took me 10 hours to render Chinese Art 2, whereas I've got a 6 cores Phenom II proc and 8Gb RAM), so you gotta make a choice, if you want it to go fast, you'll get shitty quality.

What most of moviemakers do I think is letting their PC run at night, so it's not that bothering.
