Texture Viewer for CS Source
Hi everyone, does anybody knows, where can i get a soft, which open the materials of the CSS, and xtract the jpg's... ???
because i wanna use it in cs 1.6.
Is that possible ?
it is possible but not recommended. the 1.6 engine cannot display the textures in their entirity. the source engine was made to handle a much higher resolution texture. my suggestion is extract .wad files from condition zero maps. these textures have a higher resolution than the standard 1.6 textures and they look much better when used in 1.6 maps. rad0n was the first mapper to incorporate these nicer textures into kz_ maps.
you can extract them but i don't say that how. Cause dropsys typed the reasons.

Yes i could extract the texture files from CSSource and then use it in my dbh_nuke :D
I use VTF Viewer, then ive extract the textures and then, open the textures with Photoshop to resize it to 256x256 (instead 512x512) and worked perfectly :D
