Can't sync my mobile with PC

Hey there,

If by some luck you've got samsung galaxy series phone, I'd be very greatful to get some help of you.

My problem is that I can't sync my GALAXY Ace 2 with the PC. Precisely, I get only 2 options while trying to sync it:
- Scan, photo manager
- MS Word,
while it blocks my attempts in transferring files to appropriate folders.

Ofcourse, I tried other options, like syncing by the help of kies but I got a problem with it too: "You're not connected to the internet"

I've also searched for another options like syncing w/o any apps by removing some ticks here and there but guess what? It doesn't work too.

Are there any other programms that might help me other than kies by using usb?

what version of kies do you have ? if its not 2.3.2.12064_10 try to update. or manually with Mass storage. ( idk how to do it.. thats what my friend told me ) or i found this but hard to say if it help you http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-ace/314591-samsung-galaxy-ace-pc-connectivity.html

I own Galaxy Gio, and the first time I had the same problem just like you. Want to hear my advice? Never ever try to use Kies, just install it and that's it. You need to update the current USB controllers.

I am not sure if I understood you koolen. Or else why would I install a soft which I am not going to use? Or does it sync automatically in some way? Anyway, as said above, I can not even install it due to an error tells I am not connected to internet.

I could however sync it on vista. The difference is that it reads a storage card as a separate disk which XP could not do.

I'll try out your stuff as well pu9maker, thanks for.your feeds guys.
