Freeze after using record bind

Almost every time i use my record bind I get this game freeze for 0.1sec, this only happens on my laptop and i have no idea how to fix this, It messes up my ljs and demo recording alot.

i didnt watch your demo but i got this freeze aswell when recording for a long time (~10min) and using the record bind afterwards. im quite sure this is a hardware issue, your hdd maybe

that the HDD would have problems would be strange since this laptop is just over 1month old, but ill try to run some tests on it tomorrow using HDtune just to be sure

kaffee said right, but its not about hhd problem. if you use bind like a "bind" "key" "stop; say /gc; record lalaldemo" delay always will be, cuz overwrite current recording. Source of that bug is filesystem, cuz never has its on Linux or Unix. Much more size of demofile, much more chance to bug. Try use another bind, example from CPL, when for one key recorded demos lalalademo01/02/../10/01/... Its helped me few years ago, when i have same delay too.

i have exactly the same problem proppan. i also use a laptop, an asus. and i think theres nothing you can do.

I used to have this few years ago. I tried everything but the lags didn't want to disapear. I would say that the problem isn't about some setting or config. You might try to reinstall your windows + update your drivers with the new ones.

Have you tried a recording plugin that does everything automatically?
