Facebook and Xtreme-Jumps
Hi friends,
I was roaming around facebook this night and I opened Xtreme-Jumps' page. I saw a few comments and I felt the friendly atmosphere. Just think of it, by getting to know/see each other, we can become even more united and powerful. People could show a lot more interest in XJ. That can be a way to show our real life hobbies and entertainments. We can share pictures, discuss anything and have fun, as we do here, but on another level which can improve XJ, too. Of course, no one can be obligated to participate in all this! I just thought this might be a chance to get the scene a step futher. :)
Peace,
N
P.S: Of course, I am impatient to check your opinions!
hmm nice,so what we gonna do?
As a beginning, we can raise up that activity in Xtreme-Jumps' facebook page and from there, we can start communicating. :-)
Don't think everybody is willing to sing up, not wanting to mix social life with his or her's gamerlife. Not that there's anything to be embarrassed about, but CS has got a bad image among people who don't understand what part of CS KZ is.
And/or people don't want to show their faces -> fame people of KZ would get awful alot of friend requests from wnb pros etc. Steam is a good enough place to promote KZ imo.
It's a great idea but don't think it gets that much attention anyway, esp from outside. Youtube should be adminstrations main focus, by relating shooting scene a bit more to KZ might get us in the related videos page.
I've actually added many people on FB/Steam but i begun to delete some of them
I would really like to stay in touch on Forums, it's obviously the way better.
You can also take a look our lives using threads that has a relation to our real life
For example, i added ndR for a year and a half maybe and i never talked to him before and it's absolutely useless, it bothers me in fact, because i've no reason to talk with him about his life, he has his own friends you know.
I agree with everything Gargoyle said. Wise words.
