Things that irritate you
28/10/2012 23:33(edited 28/10/2012 23:35)The subject of the thread is what you hate the most about KZ and what's spinning over. I most probably made this topic in order to release my anger but in a rather polite way. So if you are going to post, then do it the same way.
- It's annoying when moviemakers name their works by the used song name
- I don't appreciate people bring shit. They don't post often, but when they do, those are negative only and tend to be not objectively covered
- I hate people copying behaviour of others. Particulary ridiculous attempts of "trolling" while actually looking dumbish
- I don't like people working on e-fame that are recognized by the help of famous "friends"
- I hate dark maps

That's what I hate.
But since it's about kz... I don't like when I fail some runs because of a lame break or lag
I hate the short period following my unban where I miss my warn icon.

People have a habit of taking every statement as a negative one these days. So don't think this was "aimed" at you, cause neither do I know you nor I am getting paid for it.

1. I hate people tryin to be "different" by acting as "trolls". Most of the ppl acting trolls on xj actually aren't not, if u get a chance to catch them on steam friends. These trolls belong to all genres- wr holders, mm'ers, spectators; in the last few years I had the chance to get in contact with some of these glorified trolls. To my sheer surprise I actually found out these were the nicer people, but someway in the forum-lurkin business they had a weird habit of gathering attention by talkin or acting weird. Act as u really are, we would love you in your format only.
2. I hate dark maps. Years of hard work after a dark themed map is such a turn off for me that I just consider it a work down the drain.
3. I sometimes hate the over-emphasis xj shows towards its blue-eyed boys. These blue-eyed boys may be admins/old players, their friends. I am a common man, therefore I would always lay the emphasis on the common man.
4. I hate the stupid comments ppl put up like "gj" or "prad you sir are pathetic". Post a constructive comment or dont post at all. Its better to have 183 sensible comments in the last 5 years than have 2957 idiotic comments in the last 1 year.
5. I hate how people take fun in making a fool out of everyone, they fail to realize its much better to live in a harmonious ambiance.
6. I hate how people just "quit" the finals, if you can't play, please don't register.
7. I hate how some moviemakers put screamo. They are good, but in kz moviemaking, its a strict no-no. We watch them to feel relaxed and not to grow adrenaline and jump off the mountain.
8. I hate how still after being requesting many times, we are not gettin a xj pro league (a pro league is a league that has only kick-ass tough maps and kick-ass players), a thing which chrizZo started years before.
9. I hate how people ask for releases in the chatbox, Vee or anyone in the adminlist have a life that they have to maintain or take care of. Xj isn't our primary aim in our life.
10. I hate how mm'ing has become so over-editive these days. I recall a multiplayer movie recently released in the newspost, my eyes are still hurting.

I hate dark maps too, especially if there are no contrast gradients on jumps (if there are some, it makes map looks good and still playable)
I hate spikes too
I hate extremely "ducky" duckbhops and duckjumps and long running parts between start timer and first jump

2 - Fail at the very last possible jump and ruin whole run :D ( happened like 3-4 times on one map ) or just a "stupid" fail..
3 - "Spikes" and dark maps ( they are mostly great maps but the darkness ruined verything for me )
4 - Arrogant behaviour
5 - Cheaters ( weak ppl who cant/arent willing accomplish something w/o support tools and they actually ruin the game for other ppl who devote efforts to it.
6 - Calling someone NO-LIFER or smth.. Its not like you HAVE TO jump or geek or whatever.. Ppl do it cuz they have fun doing this right ? I bet that the "heroes" who calls others no-lifers watch demos, maybe playing even more then the "no-lifers" and spend hours a day doing stupid things. They just have a terrible need to complain at anything and envy.
7 - "Online balls"
How many of you would say the same things to the person(s) in his face, as you do online ?
I hate the repetitive use of the word "MASSIVE" in the MvM scene, it frustrates me to the point where I automatically choose to dislike a movie only because they labeled it as "massive"
For those who haven't caught this yet, people that call their movie "massive" in the kz scene are reffering to the awful dubstep songs and the overuse of various effects and the attempt to make the actual footage as unwatchable as possible.
- I hate KZ movies in which *excuse me* I can't see shit because of an overdose of effects, flashes, cuts and whatsoever.
- I hate dark maps
- I hate it when I overjump a block in an easy map.
- I hate it when my stand-up bugs.
- I hate the fact that I suck at bunnyhop.
- I hate people who just act like trolls in the forums.
- I hate when people are acting retarted and rude to newcomers. Without showing no respect and giving constructive advice on what should they improve.
- I hate Mainstream movies.
- I hate old, overused jumps.
- I hate CHEATERS
- I hate spike jumps
- I hate lj movies in which you can't see the block distance cause of the flashes or movies in which you can't basically see the jump itself due to cuts.
I hate annoying people who only search conflict.
I hate white Knight with her arrogant behaviour.
I hate stupid people who don't understand they're talking to human being, and not just a bot with a nickname.
I hate working 20 hours on a tricks without be able to do it.
I hate the the actual moviemaking scene, which favors quantity rather than quality, no intro, no credit, just a trick with 50 fx and a "massive" dubstep drop.
I hate to think that chilling music became the new mainstream.
