so is there any people lurking in this forum who has any knowledge about headphones specifications? at what should i look out before i buy them?

Yea sure. Some friend of mine bought in-ear beats (oringinal) from London this year and they broke after 2 weeks of usage.

My Sennheiser CX 300 II's resisted 1 year and 1 day and i've taken lots of hits on rollerblades with them.

Now i bought Sennheiser CX 400 II and i just love them! Everything is just perfect; i like listening to high quality music (like 320 kbps mp3 or .flac, for better audio performance).

But it depends on what input source you have...

Beats are just brand and good sound quality, but poor material quality and...they are too heavy (getting out of the ear ... ).

nah man dr dre is overpriced garbage imo :D my friend got a pair, not impressing :) Sennheiser would probably give more for the same price :p

remember to buy a sound card as well if you are buying high end headphones. otherwise you wont notice the difference between some that cost 100 vs 250. speakers play the signal and if your signal sucks then theres no idea in buying too good headphones

Agree with Jonde, higher than 100-150€ you should consider buying an audio card. And don't pay this much attention to headphones' specifications, it doesn't mean everything. Imo you should rather check out some reviews on the web.

wow ppl, headphones i linked cost about 50-70$ theyre not even nearly close to anything "high-end" :D
still in Lithuanian currency 50$ is quite a lot for a headphones, tho they are ALOT better than any supermarket thingy

People only buy beats because Dr.dre made them. It is such a waste of money when you can get better headphones for a cheaper price.
