bicycle thread
now as days are turning colder i already feel how much i will miss riding my bike during winter. since we have a car thread and all kinds of that stuff, why none about bicycles?
so what kinda bike are you riding? no matter if moubtainbike, bmx, fixie, whatever. or share you bike-storys if you happened to come across anything interesting.

thats my peugeot singlespeed (no fixed gears). kinda old picture, had to change the rear wheel and some other stuff after a crash.
i still have pictures of my stolen bikes, if anyones interested. this is quite a dangerous place if you plan on putting da two-wheeled steed anywhere else but in your appartment.

i had a fixed gears bike when i was in london. a guy was throwing some of his shit on the street because he had to move (house) very quickly. i got his bike for free :-)
it was a red and white fixie, can't find any pics unfortunately :/
i broke it when two of my mates and i tried to come home after a clubnight. i let u imagine how stupid/high/drunk whatever we were to ride the bike all together. we hit the pavement and my bike crashed against a streetlamp. i wasnt riding it btw when we crashed.
i thought about getting one here in finland, but i aint confident about my icebiking skills heh. and its cold as fuck too. so i don't know yet, i'll let u know.
Don't know how you spell a bike on the other side of the frontier but in proper english we spell it "Bicycle" Kaffee. :)

3 people on a fixie sounds very advanturous, you got what you deserve lol. but im sure it was quite fun until the crash.
having one gear in finland is probably not very useful, except if you live in a flat urban environment

i do live in a flat urban urban environment. would be actally useful to use one instead of paying the bus to go to the uni. plus there's no night buses during the week here, so yeah...anyways

MTB for the win! I felt in love with bike since I was real young, and I practice MTB in the Alps from time to time.
Riding up the mountain? Ain't nobody got time fo that! Downhill is clearly the sport I enjoy the most.
I love mountain biking esp downhill.
I also take part in the french downhill cup. :)

we all have ridden this kind of bike at least once. during the summer holidays, i had one like this with the jamaica colors on it. a beast!

i built this one from rather old parts i bought via ebay & flea markets. except for the wheels which are new, bought via some random mail order company. it rides perfectly, like a strong loyal horse:
