well, i'm kinda back to the kz world now, and i have a few questions. since i use 1 sensitivity for shooting, i also use it for kzing. i managed to max out only a 241 lj, and i have hold the mouse with my fingertips in order to move it fast enough, due to the low sensitivity, but there's something i really wanted to know as i have been kzing. does it matter how many strafes you do? because i've landed a 241 only twice(never really tried all the time). the first one, i put 6 strafes into it. the second one, was only 4, so i'm wondering.. is strafing really all about timing? in my opinion, i think it is. i have been watching some kz videos, and i see that faker made that 245 x 3 and only about 4 strafes in each. he also just does a few circles and such, but i never see any like.. crazy left and right 6 strafe or anything like that.. so can anyone answer my question?

yeah,the timing matters a lot

if you make 9 small strafes you will gain the power of 4-6 big and wide strafes

the prestrafe is also important ;)

It is about timing ofcourse, but I think in this case ur problem might be prestrafe. I've heard that few ppl have done 240 with only prestrafe. So it's possible to do 241 with prestrafe and 1 or 2 strafes..

focus on prestrafe,and when u consistantly get over 270,then you shout think about the amount of strafes... For me the sensitivity thing is different in kz/shooting - 1.35/1

what is ur best lj record (including those before u quit kz for a while)

i used to do 240-242 lj and maybe 243 if i was lucky enough, but later i realized that its all about how long u practice, if u got 300hrs on steam, u can do 245-250 with 3-5 strafes easily. i focus mainly on airtime and sync, speed gain is important but u have to balance these 3, if u could do 5 strafe with 10+speed gain, 80%sync while keeping each strafe-airtime lower than 20, u could do 248+ easily. some good strafers can do 256 lj with 5 strafe, and great amount of time is needed to shape ur strafe, for most hard maps(kz_sandblock2 level), a good 5-strafe and 250lj is more than enough.
