Hello XJ.

I've seen quite a few having troubles to remember/find the maps their were looking for, so i came up with an idea that might help you, of course only if you take time to make it. anyways.

When you submit maps into your database you should add an extra row or two for that matter. You can call one of the for example.. Keywords, and the other one description.

The purpos of this is so that the users should be able to edit the Description and Keywords of the map "kinda like wikepedia" so when the users navigate to a desired map they want to add description for the page could look like the one you already use "http://xtreme-jumps.eu/demos_history/map_info.php?map=bkz_wallblock" but with customizable content.

And of course for the last part you should expand the search function so it will also look in the Keywords and Description.

Anyways, just a thought :)

We are not wikipedia, what you mentioned is very useful, but it's not going to be done here.

Not implementing this feature because "you're not wikipedia" would be as stupid as removing the search function because "you're not google".

That's a pretty nice idea. Not only keywords, but you could also add a little description, even if it's the same as when you make a newspost. 3 screens of the map could be too much to ask.

In this case nothing is to much too ask, since the users/players of this community would be able to take care of this "according to my plan", only the coders of the community have to make a little effort to make this happen, dosen't even require much coding at all.

Well remake sure is right about that one.

I do not see how this impossible to do. The only thing you need it basically add every info manually which sucks..

what the hell means that? As for the current time having suggestions/ideas is the most important thing in KZ/CS/World. SmK1337 has suggested something which is probably going to be usefull for the people and you say "ye it's good, but no thank you, we don't want it". Give us a statement? Why wouldn't you add it if it's a good idea as you've said?

I did not say that this idea is impractical, the idea is very good, I like it, except that now there are more important tasks than this , maybe I was too harsh when I said it will never be done.
