FPS issues

if you are getting FPS issues you might want to check out

Some people are needing to know how to get more FPS in KZMod. Here are the things to try:

Lowering the graphics options in the Options / Video menu.

If this doesn't work, open your console (if you don't have the console, go to Options / Keyboard, click advanced, and enable the console), then type "mat_dxlevel 80" into it. This should improve your frame rate. You can lower it down as low as 60, which would disable a lot of the graphical effects.

In order to be sure the setting is going to stay, you will have to either put it into your config, or enter it as a command line option. You can do this by right clicking on the Kreedz Climbing entry in your steam games library, going to properties, click Set Launch Options, and add +mat_dxlevel. The plus is required, remember. Now then, back to the show!
