Serious STEAM trouble

ok,i was playing a cup today.when the round resetted,i was dropped from the server .i tried reconnecting again,but i got this error:

Error Verifying STEAM UserID authentication bla bla bla...
so i deleted ClientRegistry.blob and booted steam

since then,i cant access my account. :down:
it tells me my username and/or pw are wrong...even though im 152% sure that they are not.

if someone can help me with this,id be very grateful..

normally it should make a update and download the file new...
did u logged off correctly before deliting this file?

try to delete this files Steam.dll and SteamUI.dll and try to log on again...

maybe reinstall steam?

this is so EMBARRASING... ive used my old PW all the time...and i had forgotten that i changed it...

and ive deleted EVERYTHING... including RMFs... ready for release maps... and other shit... god this is so STUPID

problem solved anyway :o

EDIT: I might be able to recover my files :) w00t

EDIT2: Shit i cant recover them... oh well...now i gotta re-map a whole ready for release map :( and re-create the custom textures in it

Why did you delete your map? Was it in the steam folder too? :D Search and download "R Undelete". You could try to recover with that. Maybe some files are still there.

Until then, DO NOT WRITE (change/create new files) ANYTHING on that partition. :!

na...its too late :X i already reinstalled steam and cstrike

but i can recreate everything in :confused: 2-3 days maybe
