Is 100.5 fps legal?
After steam-update fixing I have 100.5 fps. Is it legal??
at least not legal for a record. type fps_max 99.5 in console then it's normal as usual
Its not legal unfortunately. There is a noticeable impact on the gameplay with that afaik. You have to find a way to fix your max fps to 100.0 value, it should not go over. Mik0 kindly offered you one possible solution there.
Most disappointing part is valve vague response to this issue, which could mean that it would stay this way.
i thought max fps 101 is legal so 100,5 is ok? or isnt? lol :D no idea , im confused
You are probably talking about fps_max cvar...
Previously using fps_max 101 + developer 0 gave us result as 100 maximum fps ingame
After latest updates majority get 100.5 ingame fps with the same settings.
Considering mentioned settings were there to keep players fps fixed to 100.0 , now this rule technically invalid because it results in different ingame fps.
you get 100.5 fps because your uq_jumpstats force fps_max 101
Just edit your uq_jumpstats.sma , find "fps_max 101", change it to "fps_max 99.5" . It can fix your fps problem. After that , fps is between 99 to 100

But it will be ok only on ur LAN.. What about public servers?
Naebashka, u should edit the server lj plugin
But some server admins don't want to do it or don't know how to do it.. And if i'm not admin, i can't fix my fps by editing public server lj plugin :X
this uq_jumpstats.amxx is edited with 99~~100fps

100.5 fps is legal, because there's no big difference between 100 and 100.5, at least not for us who are not into engine stuff. MAYBE some admins can take it as a illegal fps value...
100.5 puts you over 100 fps so yes, it's illegal.
Put your fps_override to 0, i guess it will works.
have anybody solved the problem?
