Got a real slowmo effect the first time I opened cs today. Thought the problem was in the server but then realised it keeps occuring on every server I play. The other people are moving with the regular speed though, so it's even more misterious.

Probably worth mentioning I'm using a new pc assemblage for the 4th day now, everything was smooth for all this time until today, though. My hard was initially empty and I haven't downloaded many things yet. Only a few basic things I use on a daily basis, that's all. Quake 3 works fine btw.

Here is the demo http://www.sendspace.com/file/v4gt48

Ofcourse I tried to restart cs.

to Shock: maybe its cuz of CS update or something, if you want I can give old pack of CS how it was before update, for me all works fine whit it.

Solved!

Why didn't you record a 259lj demo? Should've been impossible to detect since you didn't use cheat software lol

How dare you... :D Funny thing is that after 20 minutes of longjumping a few 254 stats is the best result I managed to get. I couldn't even finish kz_kzsca_oasis. I have tested slowmo tools before and I must admit that it's exactly same experience, it's just that I'm noob. Anyway, as you can see from the demo, it's playing a real time movement it was recorded with, so you can clearly see it's timescaled. Moreover, if I even finished the map with such a slowmoish run it would equal twice worse time providing my movements scaled /2.
