The reunion - 5 years later

I dont know how many of you guys remember who we are, but, some of the old guys who have jumped through time might remember. We come from one of the oldest schools of kz. The times when 3-4 bhops was were a great combo, back in the day, back in those times when pushing a 245 was being called a top lj'er.

At that time, I (scary) was lucky to meet a guy called Igna, we became friends and both got world records during that period, both involved in the community. Helping where we could, contributing to the society of KZ.

This was 5 years ago approximately. and now here we are, sitting currently in Copenhagen, talking about the days where legends like t3dbundy and a0ke and zhady and tarGet and kimo and niconen and oddysseus and faker and ndR, radon and arf and ernstaugust and moxx and eDark (The guardian) and helferlein and HoHo^ and dropsys (RIP!) and DHT and micron and KNiFEAR and FikoN and t0ffo and 4knuk were expanding the boundries of the known KZ world.

5 years after, we hook up, igna decided to travel the world, and by chance ended up in copenhagen. He sent me a message through facebook. And that was it, we met, had the fun, drank and smoked and just had an amazing time, good friendship. And thanks to this community, to the friendship still that remains behind all the KZ.

This goes out to all jumpers around the globe, KZ is awesome and it seems like a game, but in the end, it can bring people together, not only as gamers, but in a sense of fellowship, its not only love for the game it can translate into friendship many years out in time. That is nothing but fantastic!

Big thanks to all the people behind the scenes, the people who maintain the spirit of kz, who keep jumping and amazing us with your records, who keep evolving the game even years after we jumped. Enjoy doing it, go crazy and remember the good people you meet, because it might happen to you! as it happened to us 5 years after, that we met, and had a GREAT time!

So much this. I'm glad I still have friends from XJ even those I havent talked to in so long. One of the best things was meeting ndR and even though it was short lived it was still awesome. I know we will meet again some time down the road but thanks for posting this scary because these are things that linger on my mind with every visit to XJ.

Ps: Every single time I see your nick, I keep getting these really distant memories of us speaking on steam or something. I might be totally wrong ofcourse, but did we used to talk like many years ago, probably around 2006 ish ?
