If hammer crashes everytime u open it [fix]

Hello lately ive been having the problem of hammer constantly closing on me before i could even get into the program. I have found a fix that worked for me and thought i would list it here in case anybody else encounter the same problem

Steps
1. Go to start menu and write "regedit" and hit enter
2. Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" and press the little arrow
3. Go to the subfolder "Software" expand it like with HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
4. Go to the subfolder "Valve" and delete the folder called "Valve Hammer Editor".

You will now be able to open hammer again! Hope this helps somebody in the future
